SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 SP3 – Trial Version

The Mobile Application Modeler (MOAM) is an SDN evaluation software allowing the rapid prototyping of mobile applications by business experts. The applications are assembled from task and screen templates. Direct preview of the final application is supported. MOAM integrates smoothly with SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 in that applications modeled with MOAM can be deployed directly to SAP NetWeaver Mobile client for handhelds. Additionally, applications modeled with MOAM can be converted into standard SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 applications and be then edited with SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 development tools.

Mobile Application Modeler – Prototype

Mobile Retail is shown here in a scenario of “quick-shopping”, i.e., exploring how you as a consumer can cut down your shopping time or get desired services from a store –directly on your mobile phone. This demo is an example application based on a lightweight mobile architecture designed by SAP Research. Please note, this is a prototype. (423 KB).

The SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) offers developers and development consultants an integrated and comprehensive set of documentation and tools in order to create mobile offine applications using the Mobile Infrastructure. The prototype of the Mobile Application Modeler enables business analysts and power users — not just seasoned developers — to extend applications and processes to mobile users. The Stand Alone prototype is an Eclipse based modeling tool that delivers a design and development platform specifically for creating mobile business scenarios that can be simulated on the fly.

Mobile Time Sheet and Mobile Travel Expenses database tables are stored as files in a serialized format. Therefore, it is not possible to access these files directly from Windows File Explorer. To display the contents of these files for troubleshooting purposes or during implementation phases, a Database Reader Tool for Mobile Time and Travel was created. This tool can be deployed to the server and assigned to specific users. It allows the content of these files to be displayed by specifying the MTT 1.6, 163 KB / MTT 2.0, 862 KB).
