Our recent new joiner expert in SAPLAB.org has launched an idea aiming to promote knowledge exchange through the blog. On a moderated basis, Helder Gonçalves is willing to answer your specific SAP questions with a professional answer, pointer or even a solution. It all depends on the type of challenge you present to him and the interest of your question/answer for our blog and to the SAP community.
Helder’s skills cover a wide set of SAP functional and technical topics: implementation and development for all major modules and sub-modules like HR/HCM, MM, SD, FI, CO, TR, AA, RE, PM. Specialities include ABAP development in OO, ECC6 new functionalities, ECC6 Enhancement Framework, SAPScript, Smartforms, ALV OO interactive reporting, dynamic code programming, Portal applications and Business Workflow.

I know nothing about computers. my question is my work uses sap for out pay advise and when i try to open mine from home it tells me my browers is not supported by web dynpro.. what does that mean and what do i have to do to get it to work for me.. thanks so much …

Hi Shelley,
Web Dynpro applications run in the Enterprise or Netweaver Portal but they require certain specific browser versions in order to run properly. If in fact you’re able to run them at work and have trouble running them using your home computer, this is probably the case.
In case your company runs SAP Netweaver 7.0 – your sys admin or Basis team can tell you this – I advise you to read my post “The SAP Netweaver 7.0 PAM“, which crosses the necessary applications against SAP components or modules. If your home computer is a recent one, you can also consider upgrading the Internet Explorer to a newer version, which will run Web Dynpro applications without problems.

I have the same problem as Shelley. I used to be able to open my paycheck before I added windows 7. i have the newest internet explorer. please help my wife keeps nagging me to fix it

Greetings all I’m hoping I can get an answer even if this is not maybe the place to ask the following question.
I’m part of an organization that is starting to move towards the idea of using SAP but, the only snag that stops them is the volume of information to be re-written in SAP. Currently we are using a software called Concept (I don’t know if you ever heard of it), is it possible to write a tool or maybe a conversion software to obtain the electronic conversion of data instead than input them in manually??

Hi
I have a query in Migration of Documents. While clearing a particular Debit and Credit Line items in a liability account, I am facing with GLT0002 Error. Complete description of the error is given below :
Document splitting: Items for clearing 7600/400005000/2009/001 not found
Message no. GLT0002
Diagnosis
Document splitting cannot perform clearing because it was not possible to find complete splitting information on the items to be cleared (company code 1000, document number 3800008318, fiscal year 2009, item 001).
System Response
Clearing cannot be performed and the document cannot be posted.
Procedure
Exclude the affected item from clearing.
It may be that this item was not posted with active document splitting. In this case, this item or document would have to be migrated.

Please let me know how to clear this document by fixing the above migration/doc split error.
